Description
One of the loveliest small trees in Texas in the autumn is Baccharis negleca, not because of colorful foliage but because of the plant's willow-like leaves and the delicate fluff that its flowers produce. Here you see the interplay between that intricate foliage, seen both directly in the background and through shadows in the foreground, which are highlighted all the more by appearing on an abdomen rather than purely in nature.

The light and shadow with the textures are great. Her body could be a tree if you don't look closely. Well done.
Steven Schwartzman replied:
I like the way you saw her body as a tree. We could even say that's why that part of a body is called the trunk.
